Wow, I'm so off with the days of the week! I intended to get this post up yesterday, but obviously it didn't happen. So, we're starting WFW on Thursday this week. Sorry for the delay, everybody! We started our kitchen remodel, phase 1, this week. It's already looking great! I think I mentioned before that it's a small kitchen, but what made it feel especially small was the fact that the washer and dryer were right in the kitchen, next to the stove. And while it may be convenient for "some people" to do their laundry while their dinner is simmering, I guess I'm just not "those people." So, we're moving the laundry area into the utility closet, and gaining a TON of space in the kitchen! It's awesome! We're just waiting for the plumber to move the gas line, and the framer to come in and finish off the utility closet doorway. Guess we better get shopping for flooring, cabinets, fixtures, lighting, etc.! No turning back now! Oh, and if any of you have suggestions for saving money on any of that, I'd LOVE, LOVE to hear your ideas.
Now, on to the main event . . .
