Bargain Shopping Tenet #1: PATIENCE

For those of you who consider yourselves "bargain shoppers" or "treasure hunters", this first rule for bargain shopping is a no brainer. To be a successful bargain shopper, you must have patience.

The deal you are looking for will always come around—you just may have to wait for it.

This requires discipline and a willingness to not follow every impulse you may have. You may see the item you're looking for at a price you didn't want to pay, but because you want that item so badly you may be tempted to compromise your budget in order to get it. Don't listen to that small little voice that says, "Yes! Buy it now!" Resist the urge, and your self-discipline will eventually pay off.

Remember, this one little tip could save you LOTS of cash in the long run.

There's a reason they say, "Patience is a virtue," and that applies to bargain shopping too! That "it" you're trying to find will eventually go on sale, get marked down, get dropped off at your local thrift store, or auctioned off on E-bay.

Have patience, and it will come your way.
